“I had a great experience and excellent learning opportunity in advanced shoulder surgeries @ EWHA Woman University Seoul Hospital, South Korea

under the guidance of Dr. Sang-Jin Shin.

His artistic approach to shoulder surgery is admirable, backed by his own research and evidence. Learning is a lifelong journey, and I’m grateful for the experience, which will enable me to give back to society in a better way. Dr. Shin’s calm and composed demeanor in complex surgeries is truly inspiring.

During my tenure, I learned Arthroscopic management of simple to complex rotator cuff tears, complex and failed Bankart, and Reverse Shoulder surgeries. Interactions in OPD and discussions on his follow-up patients greatly enhanced my understanding and will help to improve my future skills.
